Summer Workshops

Berkeley Ballet Theater’s Summer Workshops provide unparalleled ballet training by world-class faculty for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students in a warm, supportive, and fun environment. As a summer student you will experience a program focused on improving your technical skills and developing your confidence as a dancer.

BLUE

Intermediate/Advanced dancers with 3+ years en pointe. (BBT Levels 5B+)

A week-long summer workshop for adult dancers with 1-2 years of experience.

Information About Summer Workshops

Students who attend full-day classes should bring a healthy lunch and snacks. No student will be permitted to leave the premises, so food cannot be purchased offsite during the day. Read about our Summer Workshop teachers here.

Uniform Requirements:

Pre-Ballet Boys: Plain white T-shirt or leotard; black shorts or tights, white socks. White ballet shoes.

Pre-Ballet Girls: Ballet Pink tights. Long sleeve, scoop-neck, white leotard. Pink ballet shoes.

Yellow – Blue + Turquoise Boys: Plain white T-shirt or leotard; black shorts (no basketball shorts) or tights, white socks. White ballet shoes.

Yellow – Blue + Turquoise Girls: Black tank style leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes.

Additional Required Items: 

All students must bring athletic shoes, as well as street clothes to be worn when transition between locations. If possible, students should bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
